Quick question regarding wants
Are wants really beliefs and can they be erased?
If we have a belief about wanting to be safe and secure
Would this be wordedI wanted to be safe and secure?
Other examples
I want to be wealthy – I wanted to be wealthy
I want control in my life – I wanted control in my life
I wanted love and approval – I wanted love and approvalNot sure On the wording “wanted” and if it's more a CT or other PSTEC product
Thanks

I'd go with Belief Blasters, 18 mins version.
“I want to be safe” is a direct expression of our survival instinct,
“I want to be loved” is pretty close to that as well..Primal essential drives I wouldn't suggest to reject or try to eradicate.
As with anything, the problem arises when they get excessive/distorted as to limit some aspect of your life you want to develop. Maybe you could go with “I couldn't have been safe” / “I couldn't have been loved” instead.
Similar for control over you life.. Some of it is required, and what's the desired outcome of having that control? Ex. peace of mind? Then, “I couldn't have had peace/felt peace” or some other goal, so maybe you could shift it as “I couldn't have got what I wanted”.
“I want to be wealthy”. So? You perceive that as a negative? Unless your mission is living as a hermit in a cave, I'd say honor your desire and tackle the obstacles to that.. Maybe starting from “Wealth has been bad/wrong” and “I couldn't have been wealthy”.
“I wanted approval” Why? Because you feel you need it, so I'd word it
“I had been needing approval”.Hope this helps, cheers

Yes, I'm not suggesting to eradicate the primal drives themselves just the “wanting” to control them and the fear behind which I think are different things.
Basically the conditioned belief behind wanting something. Like dissolving the fear behind wanting to be safe and secure could be your fear behind never leaving the house for fear someone might ridicule your or attack you
I suppose this could be broken down to “I've been fearful of leaving the house”
I'll play with this and see what arises
Thanks for the input ?

Guess for starters you can then clicktrack that feeling of fear, and address the general belief of “I could not have left / I have not been able to leave the house” with the 18 mins Blaster..
No reason to pull any blow by using the shorter versions imo,
let's solve stuff once and for allTake note of any other limiting beliefs that may emerge during the sessions,
and then blast those too.Cheers and keep us posted on the progresses!

Hi Bloodfish – Your perception might be twisted around here.
I wanted to be safe and secure?
You wanted to be safe and secure but you believed you were not. So you would want to focus on the reason you believed you were not.
Present vs past tense examples:
I'm not safe = I haven't been safe
I'm not secure = I haven't been secureThere are certainly other beliefs specific to you underpinning this.
I want to be wealthy – I wanted to be wealthy
I want control in my life – I wanted control in my life
I wanted love and approval – I wanted love and approvalPresent vs past tense examples:
– I'm not wealthy – I haven't been wealthy
– I'm not in control of my life – I haven't been in control of my life (the root would actually drop the “of my life” you probably believe I'm not in control” among many other control related beliefs that would be specific to you)
– I haven't been loved, nobody loves me, I haven't loved myself etc.Hope this helps clarify.
