Hello,Everybody!
Has anybody had any experience with working on lightheadedness ? I have it only when I am walking. It gets worse when I am outside. It feels as if my head is full of fog, smoke, clouds.I also have agoraphobia, anxiety, depression. It keeps me stuck in the apartment.I can go out only around the building where I live.
I do not know where to start, how to work on it/them.
Please,help me.
Thank you so much in advance,
Sincerely,
Vlatat
P.S.I do not “feel” feelings, unless I am in the moment.I do feel lightheadedness when I have it.Though I cannot “reproduce” it not having it.December 10, 2014 at 8:19 pm#23932SeratoBeatsPSTEC UserDon't worry about feeling the feelings doing the CT just try to feel it. If it makes you feel tired, frustrated etc.. Then try hard to feel those feelings. Try to feel tired and sigh when doing the ct to replicate the feeling, your mind will put two and two together.
Then just ct away and follow up with positive suggestions
It's possible to keep a clear and focused mind
When walking my head can feel nice and relaxedSomething along these lines
February 13, 2015 at 6:39 pm#23933requinPSTEC UserA lightheaded, foggy feeling (head full of cotton) esp while walking and/or outside, sounds to me like a vestibular problem, not a psychological problem. I'm not a doctor so I don't know, but if you can find a doctor who specializes in vestibular issues, it would be worth getting yourself checked.
Vestibular = inner ear, equilibrium, etc.
I had that along w/ many other distressing symptoms when my latest bout of vestibular issues started. Most regular doctors don't know anything about it. Finally I found a ear nose and throat specialist who diagnosed me w/ MAV (migraine associated vertigo) and put me on a medication which has helped a lot. I stopped having the foggy head a while ago. I still have other issues but they are mild now that i'm on the meds.
Just wanted to suggest this. It's possible your issues are not physical but I know that kind of symptom can be.
Good luck to you.

Did you get any success with your lightheadedness. I have the exact same issue when I walk especially at certain laces. Its like I am walking on clouds or a sponge. I am fine while I am sitting or sleeping. Its not spinning its mostly unbalanced feeling like off balanced. The ENT confirmed ears are fine, eyes are fine too. So the GP thinks it could be anxiety.
Any suggestion or success story would be appreciated.April 2, 2015 at 5:04 pm#23935vlatatPSTEC UserHi Hivid,
I have not had much success yet. Yes,my doctor also thinks it is anxiety. I have the exact feeling you describe.Do you have it indoors too?I do. Sometimes when I talk to somebody, especially outside, the lightheadedness gets worse, when people come and leave my apartment too.I have been using fasterEFT for some time with some success.I am tapping on different issues trying to find “the root” of this anxiety. How long have you had it? If you find a solution, please, please, let me know. Thank you so much in advance.
Sincerely,
TanyaApril 2, 2015 at 5:33 pm#23936hividPSTEC UserHey Tanya,
Yes I do have it indoors as well. I am fine when I go out to walk in the park etc. I feel so stuck because I don't have any feelings yo tap on. Its a symptom – a physical symptom which comes even when I am not anxiousApril 2, 2015 at 5:35 pm#23937hividPSTEC UserOh and I have this to about 2 months now. What about you?
April 2, 2015 at 7:17 pm#23938vlatatPSTEC UserHi,Hivid,
You are lucky to be OK while walking in the park!
I have agoraphobia which makes it worse or visa versa.
I do not have any feeling to tap on either-I tap on images.
I started tapping on lightheadedness too-I have nothing to lose…One FasterEFT practitioner told me how.(just to give it a try)
I have had agoraphobia for 13,5 years,lightheadedness-for more than a year.
Have you tried tapping?Yes,I have it also even when I am not anxious. It looks we have the same story…Maybe we are too focused on it? Maybe subconscious keeps us safe?April 2, 2015 at 8:26 pm#23939hividPSTEC UserTanya

Quite honestly I do not know about lightheadedness. Anxiety or physical issue?? What I do know is that Agoraphobia and Depression are caused by something. Can you remember a time before you were affected by these things? Some event/incident or series of smaller events possibly from when you were quite young affected you to such an extent that your reactions now cripple your life. You can Click Track your fears about going out, your feelings of depression, you can also Click on the feelings experienced around those earlier events. How you go about it is a matter of how you feel about it, nibble away at the problem around the edges or go for the main causes. I strongly suspect the lightheadedness will go away when the others have gone.
Keep talking to us
