I started using the free PSTEC recordings about 3 months ago and my results are  dismal to say the least. I have used them every day usually twice per day and on both big and small issues. I am doing the click tracks according to the instructions,so why is nothing working? Have read all the FAQ and have not found any answers. Any ideas?

        Hi Zoomy

Firstly you have shown considerable commitment to change with PSTEC sadly unsuccessfully so far. Please stick with us for a while longer and see if we can get you going in the right direction.

Please accept my apologies if you have tried things I might suggest or if I sound condescending in any way but as yet I know nothing about you or your issues. Also I have to bear in mind other people read this and I try to make it educational for all.

Success is relative to your original expectations, so what were you hoping for?

Dismal results… I have to assume you have been using the 0 to 10 scale of emotional intensity before and after each play through. So what scores have you been getting?

Most people find some change every time even if only by a small half a point or so. Since the changes are permanent then this progress builds slowly, but the progress is not always a straight line graph, more sort of wobbly. As the scale is subjective the numbers are not a real value, your feelings vary from day to day and so particularly when working with low numbers or vague emotions it can take some time to clear.

Despite you having read the FAQs etc I have to say that the Click Tracks remove unwanted emotions. In order to do this effectively you have to be able to re-live the emotions while running the click track and really try as hard as you can to keep on feeling them while tapping in synch with the clicks. This is in no way easy, simple sounding but difficult to acheive. It is also natural to not want to re-live unpleasant feelings and experiences. How well have you been getting on with this?

You might find it pays to not work on issues directly but why you have them and why you cannot change. These are not logical or reasonable but emotional and so amenable to Click Tracking. Don't know what your issues are and so I can't give any pointers as to causes however your subconscious has a “protective attitude” and resists change. In your case this resistance to change might be worth exploring. People become identified with their issues, they become part of them, they might have had them all their lives and know nothing else. Change becomes frightening, going into the unknown, becoming a different person. With PSTEC you are in control, you are aiming to become the person you want to be and so the “fear of change” is unfounded and can and should be Click Tracked.

Since you have been working at it without any benefit so far I suggest you go to the pstec.org site and listen to and read some of the success stories or see these videos on my site PSTEC has worked for them it can work for you too. This in order to rebuild your faith in PSTEC which has taken a knock and needs resetting.

You can try taking a break from Click Tracking and regroup. It is best not to keep on getting nowhere although sometimes you are nearer to success the longer you have been working at it. Download the FREE Wealth of Abundance hypnotic track from my site and just “lay back and listen” as often as you can for a while.

Please get back to us. I might have to ask yet more questions in order to reboot your change efforts.

I have Used PSTEC  for self confidence, motivation, fear, IBS, getting a job, anxiety, anger, and relationships. Sometimes I will listen twice a day, sometimes once. Nothing changes . I have used the Wealth of Abundance track as well with zero results.  My motivation levels are zero. I just do not want to do anything. I am not depressed and physically am very active. Have also tried to release all of my past. That is what has cause the IBS. Nothing traumatic that I am aware of ever happened( ie sexual abuse, beatings etc.) My parents were both non achievers in their lives. I am not sure, but I feel there is a deep hidden fear of something. But how do you find that?

            Hi Zoomy
            Thanks for replying.

Self-confidence, anxiety, anger, fear and zero motivation seems like a shopping list of things that are all symptoms or aspects of low self-esteem.

The zero motivation sounds like a variety of depression despite being physically active, and/or “fear of change”. Again pointing to low self-esteem.

Low self-esteem not necessarily caused by anything so overtly traumatic as abuse and beatings.

IBS has a relationship to stress.

Low self-esteem often caused by parents unintentional behaviours and beliefs. You called them “non-achievers”, do you describe yourself as such?

When you were younger did you ever go to hospital either as a patient or a visitor?

See what you make of the above and get back to me again

I am exactly like my parents!  A complete non achiever. I was never in the hospital as a child that I can remember, and I did not go as a visitor until I was in my early twenties. Both of my parent were afraid of virtually everything. I have what feels to me as a lot of motivation, but it is stuck inside and I cannot release it.  I was also a whiny kid and I was bored a lot.

So you are “exactly like your parents”.. but you don't want to be, you feel trapped, a version of your parents inside and can't seem to find a way out to “be yourself”.

Have I got that somewhere about right?

I'll think about it and get back to you tomorrow morning.

                      Things you can do.

You have been using PSTEC for a while now as diligently as you can and got, as far as you can tell, nowhere! This sucks, right! Furthermore here is me trying to tell you that all this time you might have been doing it all wrong. I hope that I have not come across this way, but it still sucks though!

But look at it this way. You may not think you have got anywhere but just having used the Click Tracks a number of times will have had some benefits. You have learnt how to use them and they will have made changes to you, just perhaps they were not the ones you were looking for and thus gone unnoticed. This will have prepared your mind for the changes to come. Your only fault is in being human and trying to use reason and logic to solve a non-logical problem, but hey, we all do that!

Firstly, you have made the suggestion and proved it to yourself that “PSTEC does not work” (the title of this thread). (Perhaps, did you feel that it was FREE and therefore not going to). However this is a negative thought with negative feelings and should be the first target of some Click Tracking as is the stuff above that “sucks”. Negative thoughts and feelings stop you from achieving what ever it is you are trying to do. Click Tracking them away is like taking off the parking brake in your car before being able to drive forwards.

A lot of this negative stuff can seem fairly nebulous, difficult to get a hold of. In order to bring this stuff into focus so you can feel it to Click Track it away it is good to focus on what it is you really do want. When you think about your dream, your goals, where you want to be in 5 years time, make these absolute “blue sky thinking” no restrictions at all, what so ever. This will almost certainly bring up lots of reasons why these dreams are unobtainable, “but I have not got enough money”, I'm never going to have enough…” “but I'm stuck here in this job”. These are the sorts of things that might crop up, quite often starting with “but”. These are the things to Click Track. They may not have “names” like “self-confidence” or “anxiety” or “anger” but they are your immediate problem to deal with and Click Track. Do not let thoughts like “Yes but I really do not have enough money, how is PSTEC going to change that?” fool you. It has a “but” in it. These sort of thoughts are produced by negative feelings in your subconscious, your subconscious drives everything you do. If feelings like that remain, you really will “never have enough money”. So Click Track them away and allow a more positive future to happen.

If for some reason you cannot get on at this time with “blue sky” thinking, then there is another way forward. In order to magnify the negativity to Click Track… imagine! Imagine a future where you are trapped, like your parents, never going to get out, stuck, make it the worst possible thing that could happen to you, a truly horrible scenario to you. Now run the Click Track!

So PSTEC does work, it has for thousands of others, it can work for you too! Just change the way you are using it, do not look for reasons, Click Track anything that (as Jeff puts it) does not bring you JEEP, Joy, Excitement, Enthusiasm and Peace, whatever negative feelings you have right now!

                      Get Clicking!
Keep us posted on how you are getting on.
